Hard Day

It is only 11am, and i am having a hard day. I am very un-motivated to do anything. My classes are wonderful - they are all working steadily (praise the lord) the school day is actually going well - I am just feeling sad and down. My eyes well up each time I am alone and I am overwhelmed with a sense of grief. I pray that by sharing this, it will be removed. I will become emotionally stronger and the day will get better.

i read this morning in Philippians, a letter that Paul wrote while in prison ... and how i feel towards all the prayer warriors out there ...
I thank my God every  time I remember you. In all my prayers for all of you, I always pray with joy because of your partnership in the gospel from the first day until now, being confident of this that He who began a good work in you will carry it on to completion until the day of Christ Jesus. Philippians 1:3-6

I cannot begin to express my thanks for the prayers and support from everyone - I know that God has big plans for my family - and just as stated above, he has begun a good work in me and he will see it through!

All is well - and I will praise him through this storm.

Aaron and I will celebrate my birthday tonight ... out to dinner - but not too late my team heads north tomorrow, 5:45 am bus departure. Sometimes I do ask, Who made this schedule! :)

have a blessed day ... and weekend

GRACE AND PEACE!

Dear Beth,

Happy belated birthday. I hope you and Aaron have a wonderful celebration tonight. I turned 36 this past summer...40 doesn't sound so old anymore!

Thanks for sharing your heart. We can't be strong all the time. Even knowing that Jesus is our all in all; that He is enough; that He will sustain us no matter what happens...we are still just frail, flesh. The best part is that you don't have to be strong. "In our weakness, we are strong" through Christ. You have many brothers and sisters in Christ who will be strong for you when you need it.

Bob and I continue to pray for you, Aaron, and Jeremy. Our life group is praying for you, too.

Your sister in Christ,
Mai Xia
