Anticipatory Love

Anticipation - I try to teach that on the volleyball court. Think about what your opponent might do and be ready to counter the attack. But I have never really thought about Gods Anticipatory Love for us.

This morning I woke up with the feeling of empty arms. Desperately wanting to hold Jeremy. To the point it hurt and I did not want to get out of bed. But I did, then read in God Calling about Anticipatory Love. The longing I feel God knows about - he knew I would feel that way. The Lord is practicing Anticipatory Love - He is preparing something for me. He knows the longing of my heart and I trust that He has planned something even greater for me then my current longing - I can not even begin to imagine.

The scripture in my journal:
"... Walk in Him, rooted and built p in Him and established in the faith, as you have been taught, abounding in it with thanksgiving." Colossians 2:6-7

So I continue to walk in Faith, Trust and BELIEF - my roots are getting stronger like the palm tree ... God is good, all the time - Thank you LORD!
GRACE AND PEACE!

Hello Shelby Family!
I'm a friend of Jenni's and follow her blog from time to time. She wrote about your amazing story of faith and I've been praying for you over here in Iowa. Your story moved me beyond words. The book, God Calling, has been SUCH a huge blessing to me and I know it will bless you. I wanted to pass the word along that it has a "sister" book called "God at Eventide." Both are a huge blessing. I keep praying for your family. Blessings!
