Aaron and I are faced with making decisions that will determine the course of action to be taken when Jeremy arrives. We have known this all along, and as we get closer to the time he will arrive we can no longer act like there is nothing to do but wait. While, we really will not know which course will be followed until Jeremy arrives - we need to have a course of action for the doctors, nurses, family and beyond when the day arrives. On that day all decisions will have been made - that overwhelms me.
I am most scared that once we see JP our minds will change.
Aaron and I do not even know where to start with the planning.
We know we have already faced the challenge of the pregnancy going this far, and as we look at how Jeremy is growing and progressing, we have been blessed - daily.
Thankfully, our Special Nurse will help with our planning. Aaron and I can not even pretend to know all the possible choices that must be made. Tentatively we are setting a time on November 17th, which will also be our next appointment - so please lift that day in prayer that Aaron and I will have clear heads to discern our course of actions.
The ultra sound was interesting yesterday, JP's head is down, he was playing with his feet and hands close to his mouth so we did not get the same look at his adorable sweet profile - but it was enjoyable to watch him play. His head size is great, his abdomen was going up and down, his heart rate was steady and strong. Still with the left side under developed. And he weighs 3lbs 10oz. Please continue to pray for his body - all the parts inside and out.
My reading has taken me into Hebrews ... very powerful to me that I am reading right where I need to be.
Recently I have felt very down and hopeless, the Word has provided strength ...
Let us hold unswervingly to the hope we profess, for he who promised is faithful. Hebrews 10:23
Now, faith is being sure of what we hope for and certain of what we do not see. Hebrews 11:1
Therefore, since we are surrounded by such a great cloud of witnesses, let us throw off everything that hinders ... let us run with perseverance the race marked out for us. Hebrew 12:1
Let us fix our eyes on Jesus, the author and perfecter of our faith, who for joy set before him endured the cross, scorning its shame, and sat down at the right hand of the throne of God. Consider him who endured such opposition from sinful men, so that you will not grow weary and lose heart. Hebrews 12:2-3
MY Prayer for today:
Lord, I pray that you would continue to multiply the faith you have planted in me. May the truth of your Word be firmly established in my heat so faith will grow daily. Help me to trust you at all times - in all situations. Amen.
blessings ....

Just wanted to let you know that I will be lifting all of you up in prayer.
I don't really know what else to say. I cannot ever imagine what you are going through.
God is good all the time.
All the time God is good.
Take care,
Melissa
PS. Sorry about the loss of your friend too. You have a lot on your plate. Hang in there.
