no title

This has been a long week - partly because I am looking ahead to next week, a short school week and Thanksgiving. Which then only leaves 2 full school weeks, then finals week (half days for the students, they get out at 10:30), then Vacation ... which also means the arrival of Jeremy is fast approaching.

I have mixed feelings regarding his arrival.
I can not wait to meet him, see him and hold him.
At the same time I know he is perfectly safe right now, in my belly.
We simply do not know what happens on his birthday.
I will trust that the master planner knows and he will direct me in the best way to prepare for his arrival.

from my reading/ morning prayers
Jesus turned and saw her. "Take heart, daughter," he said, "Your faith has healed you." And the woman was healed from that moment! Matthew 9:22
---
For our light and momentary troubles are achieving for us an eternal glory that far out weighs them all. So we fix our eyes not on what is seen, but what is unseen. For what is seen is temporary, but what is unseen is eternal. 2 Corinthians 4:17-18

prayer: Lord, help me to embrace the moments of life that are hard to get my arms around. Enable me to see you in these moments. Help me to be an encouragement to all around me - reminding everyone of your goodness and mercy. Provide strength and courage in this trial, day by day I will walk by faith and stand strong on your firm foundation. In Your Name, AMEN.

GRACE AND PEACE!

Yesterday is history, tomorrow is a mystery - today is a gift, that is why it is called the present. Wise words from Kung Fu Panda. Try not to get yourself worked up about what you can't control. I know it is hard, but you can do it. You are so strong, you ROCK! Love and dimes.
