Peace

This week has been tough, sharing the news with our Friends and Family - Our Prayer Warriors. Sharing the news is hard, but each time I share, I also feel peace. We are all in this together. God did not plan for us to go through tough times alone. He sent his Holy Spirit to comfort and other Christians to also help with each burden. As humans, we tend to appear strong by not asking for support or sharing the scary things - I think that is an evil and dark force moving through the universe - we need to come together on all things. Good and not so good. By coming together we create a united force that is unbreakable.

So a blessing of praise and thanksgiving to all that I have spoken with, emailed and have read the blog and have become the Prayer Warriors for Jeremy ... and Aaron and me. We are truly blessed to be surrounded by such amazing people of the Kingdom.

A Place of Abundance
Today's Scripture

…We went through fire and water, but you brought us to a place of abundance (Psalm 66:12 NIV).
Today's Word from Joel and Victoria

Everyone has times in life when they feel like they are going through the fire or perhaps feel overwhelmed with everyday life. If that’s you today, understand that God is going to bring you through those challenges; He’s going to bring you through the fire and the flood into a place of abundance. We serve a God of more than enough, and His heart is to always make sure you have whatever you need to be successful in every area of your life. The Bible says that Jesus came so that we can have life—abundant life! He wants you to have an abundance of resources, an abundance of wisdom, an abundance of peace—everything you need. Open your heart and thank Him for His goodness. Begin to receive His promises by faith. Remember, your praise opens the door for Him to move on your behalf, and He wants to take you to a place of abundance in every area of your life!
A Prayer for Today
Heavenly Father, I humbly come to You today, giving You all that I am. Thank You for leading and guiding me into a place of abundance. I give You all the glory and praise. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.

Aaron & Beth,
I heard about your blog through my cousin, Becky Vang. My husband Bob and I attend Northview and have met Aaron several times. I wanted to let you know that we are praying for you and little Jeremy. We are also pregnant with a little boy and due just 3 days after you! However, in January, we lost a baby girl, Rachel Ann, to trisomy 21 (Down's). We had a very similar experience as you; went in at 20 weeks for an ultrasound, very excited to find out the gender of the baby...and a bomb was dropped on us instead.

I can truly say that we have walked the road you're on now. We've ridden the emotional roller coaster. We have also experienced God's faithfulness and peace in a way that is unexplainable. Continue to cling to Christ. And if you ever want to talk, scream, or cry, please know I/we are always available. My e-mail is julymaven@yahoo.com.

We will be checking often and praying fervently for God's healing for Jeremy.

Your sister in Jesus,
Mai Xia Hoffman

I just "happened" across your blog this afternoon - my prayers will certainly be with you.

I also was thinking that you may really, really appreciate one of my favorite blogs: www.audreycaroline.blogspot.com
I read it almost daily - it's beautifully written and may be a great source of encouragement to you & your hubby on this journey...

blessings!
