13 weeks ... is that a baby bump

Counting the weeks sure makes summer go quick! As I finished up week 12, Aaron and I shared our news with anyone who would listen. We have kept the secret well, for about 8 weeks and is it great to be able to share the news.
YIKES ... my summer shorts from last year are not fitting, I felt strongly to share with my players that yes I was growing a baby - not just getting fat. This week I hit Target and purchased some maternity shorts - they are so much more comfortable! Of course when I stopped by my sisters to show her my "bump" she laughed at me ... you see she is due in September and really has a bump.

We are heading to a wedding tonight, the Athletic Trainer for my school - I actually created all the jewelry being worn by the bridal party (exciting!). The reception will be close, which is good - Aaron is preaching tomorrow and I tend to get tired early.

We will head out for a spontaneous vacation to Saugatuck Michigan Monday morning thru Wednesday. We are going to stay at a bed and breakfast on the water - it will be relaxing and nice to have some time away from home. We found a place that includes dinner and breakfast - for a relatively reasonable price. Aaron is REALLY looking forward to some time away. his past 2 weeks have been very busy.

Praise God - 12 weeks TODAY!

During our 10 week apointment, we heard the heart beat .... in a few months we will find out if we are having a boy or a girl.
